Hi! I am Janet. Nice to meet you! Glad you stopped in. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, this blog is all about my photography addiction. I’m working on making this an income producing gig so please, if you like what you see here, feel very free to tell anyone and everyone you know! I’ve been into photography for many many many…. years, but, and I’m sure you’ve read this a lot, since the digital age has taken us by storm, I’ve gotten a bit obsessed, and that’s a good thing. Not all obsessions are good just so you know.

What got me serious about photography back in the spring of 2004 was the desire to create those beautiful flower images with the cool blurry back grounds…. after doing some research, I found out I needed to get a DSLR camera. So after months of researching which one to get, and let me just say the decision was not easy, I went with the Canon Rebel which is a basic entry-level model that I got tons of use out of.  Before that I had a Sony Mavica that used floppy discs and had a shutter lag of about 3-4 seconds and maybe one megapixel so the Rebel was the coolest thing ever. Virtually no shutter lag. Yay!! And one of the first lenses I got was a dedicated macro which you really need to get those beautiful flower shots with the smooth bokeh.  Fast forward to now … I am using a Canon 40D and have added many more subjects to my repertoire, including people, have become quite proficient in the digital darkroom and have no plans to stop now.

To see more of my work, please visit my site Janet Lee Photography and contact me for all your photography needs….. well,  except weddings. Please leave a introduce yourself in the comment section. I’d love to know what you think and don’t hesitate to ask questions. If you like what you see here and on my website, I would love it if you shared the links with your friends and family. Ooops already said that. Well, it’s worth repeating in case you forgot. And please subscribe so you don’t miss anything exciting. I’ll be posting less on Facebook and more on here as time goes on.
