These are images of some magnolia tree blooms I took at a marvelous friend’s house. After a long brutal winter, these beautiful blooms were a much-needed and welcomed sight! With and without textures. Which do you prefer?

Sump Pump Don’t Fail Me Now!!
My sump pump is still pumpin and I’m so glad! Here are some shots around my house from this afternoon during and after the storm. And there’s more red and yellow in the radar coming this way! Better start building that ark!
Easter Sunday
Went to my sister’s house in Brewerton on Easter Sunday and took some shots of some flowers she had and stopped at Oneida Shores on the way home to catch the sunset, but was in the wrong direction so got a shot of some fishermen instead.

My wonderful friend, Em, commented when she subscribed to my blog that she usually only follows food or comedy blogs. So I told her I’d post some food photos just for her from time to time. Last night I made some chocolate covered creations and took some shots of them especially for Em. :- )

So here’s a shot of some reflections I took while out trying to find that “Super Moon” a couple weeks ago I think it was. I pulled into that little area at the end of Cazenovia Lake right off Rte.92. Thought if I stayed still for a little bit, the moon would find me. Didn’t happen, but while I was waiting I made use of my time. The lake was still frozen so the reflections are actually in a little area in the parking lot with some standing water. Looks bigger. Doesn’t it? The shot on the right is right out of the camera. No editing at all. The other shot is after I made a few tweaks.
Canvas Wrap
I took the bait on one of those free canvas wrap deals last week. …. and I actually ordered it! The reason I say it like that is because I’ve bought two groupons and one two for $4.50 …..or was it $9?…. movie ticket deals and haven’t used them yet… Anyway…. I ordered the canvas wrap. It’s my first ever so I’m pretty excited even though it is pretty small- 8×10. Was not easy deciding what image to use. Pretty much all my work is in digital dimensions, which is rectangular not square. Would be nice if the rest of the photo industry caught up to that. It’s supposed to be here Tuesday. I have to order the groupon one. That one is 16×20. A little better. This is the one I chose:
Tulip Addiction?
I think I have a problem. I think I’m addicted to tulips! Could have worse problems I suppose. Here are my latest two creations.
